AMD’s Bulldozer And Bobcat Architectures Pave The Way

Will AMD be able to catch up, or even surpass Intel's lead? The future looks interesting, indeed.
Seven years have passed since AMD first launched its K8 “Hammer” microarchitecture, which was updated three years ago by K10. Brand new, the Athlon 64 processors based on K8 kicked ass and took names, flying past Intel’s Pentium 4 processors to become enthusiast favorites.

But the performance landscape changes quickly, and Intel is notorious for feverish comebacks when it’s in second position. The company’s Core microarchitecture shifted favor back toward Intel in 2006, and that is where it has remained for the past four years.
Sure, AMD still sells attractive CPUs. Its Athlon II lineup consistently headlines our monthly Best Gaming CPUs For The Money column, thanks to respectable performance and entry-level pricing. The dual-core Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition is unbeatable under $100. And AMD’s Thuban-based offerings actually make hexa-core computing viable under $200.
Clock-for-clock, though, nobody will deny that AMD’s portfolio trails Intel’s. And Intel, as always, has a sizable manufacturing technology advantage with its newest chips centering on a 32 nm process. Meanwhile, AMD is forced to engineer its six-core CPUs into a 130 W TDP using 45 nm lithography.
Heavy Machinery Is On The Way
AMD hopes that its K10 design won’t have to stave off Intel’s Westmere microarchitecture for long, though. Last year, at one of its Financial Analyst Days, AMD gave a first look at the “modules” that will come to define how its next-generation processors will be put together. Though detail was sparse, company representatives made it clear that this is the most significant redesign seen since K8.
We already know that there will be two x86 cores based on this new architecture, each facilitating competitive functionality in a handful of different markets. Bulldozer is intended for deployment in everything from mainstream clients (including desktops and notebooks) to servers. Bobcat is supposed to be the more flexible design, enabling the low power and small dies needed in netbooks and cloud-optimized clients.
Bear in mind that, as with any generational leap, there are a number of new internally-referenced names to keep straight. AMD is really only discussing Bulldozer and Bobcat at Hot Chips 22 (the IEEE-sponsored symposium on performance processors). However, it’s probably worth going into a little more depth on where you’ll see these CPU designs crop up, if only to prevent code-name confusion. If you're a little lost on the nomenclature, use the last page of this piece as a reference to AMD's plans for 2011.

Hot ! Computer model... it meals all youngist heart away.. not to mention ...
Every year, every new faces moving at every discrete corner participating events like, bitex, computex, and so on, it wasnt at the intention that they are charm with beauty... rather to said, they are pairing into electronically as one part that we used to believe they are electronic girl or model... Well, well is computer items really hot to be sold or these models are too hots that people feel irresistible to make purchase.. the answer remain unknown..
Looks on all those hot shot... In F1 - the racing cars are so gigantic, people could hardly read a marboro on the advertising panel in any part of the car, yet people believe that by certain color scheme those cars are honda owned, Mercedes or Ferrari ...
Compare to there very hot model, intel, nvidia just run out of sight... no sight of lntel processor attached, no sight of nvidia chipset attached to the model... it seems that the only hottiest is nothing other than than the hot model...

Terrible meal and good meal, ( This are photo taken in Brunei
............ When was myself taken these meals, I merely have no memory power to remember it.... the upper was a Indian Cuisine, which the favour are unlikely my taste... everything come so oily, sweet and overcook... Maybe the employer has not made effort to settle their salary... It is just terrible.... my appetite was blown away in seconds....
The buttom was a good one, mexican cuisine... damn good... unique in taste, the chilli, the atmosphere and the lamp in charcoal fire....Delicious.....

HTC Touch Diamond - Equiped with Windows Mobile 6.1 ... Is Borned!
从曝光到在国内出现，HTC Touch Diamond这款机型都备受大家的关注，毕竟这是HTC目前最强的作品，在功能等方面的操作都专门的针对iphone进行了优化和设计。等待了许久，目 前这款HTC Touch Diamond终于在开卖了，虽然目前在改版机市场上的价格去到了5000元左右，但是对于这款新上市的机王来说价格方面算是很不错的了。
之前对HTC Touch Diamond的 猜想一直是处于遐想的状态，虽然外观和样子在网络上都已经知道，但是在拿到真机之后HTC Touch Diamond还是给人带来了相当多的意外惊喜。特别是其包装给人的第一印象就非常的特别，整个外盒犹如金字塔一般，摆放的角度可以非常的随意，看来 HTC对此花费了很大的心思。

打开外盒后HTC Touch Diamond的内盒同样非常的精美，一个抛光的塑料盒盖很高端。
打开盖子之后期待已久的Touch Diamond在两个耳机的陪伴下出现了。
迫不及待的拿起Touch Diamond，第一感觉便是要俾想象中薄了非常多，还有机身的背面的钻石表面处理也没有想象中的那种棱角分明，有着较大落差的感觉。薄薄的机身给人的感觉便是异常精美，Touch Diamond的真机表现要比想象中更为出色。
先不管机器继续打开盒子后Touch Diamond的配件设计都完全的配合了Diamond的这个主题，耳机、充电器、数据线全部进行了与Diamond为主题的设计哦。只可惜那个精美的底座为选配配件，没法体验下！
特别是充电器，抛光的表面以及梯形的造型都和Touch Diamond非常的相似，特别是在插上充电器之后，原来黑色的表面会发出幽幽的白光，HTC的字样好看，相信可以迷倒一群人，就看着充电器也能让人感觉到是一件艺术品。
说回Touch Diamond的感觉吧，Touch Diamond的做工非常不错，机身的侧面是金属边条，凉凉的手感不错，不过令人不爽的就是Touch Diamond的背面和正面都非常的沾指纹，随便的摸一下就“满身伤痕”了，呜呜呜呜!看来外出的时候要携带一块眼镜布以方便随时擦拭了，看来在这方面还 是Apple比较贴心，为iPhone配备了一块“抹布”，钻石要是也能够配备一块专属抹布就好了。

魅族M8从07年初的“传说”阶段，经过无数的“曝光”、新闻、“真机泄露”之后，也让许多对它抱有很大期望的人感到失望，特别是在今年年初的 CES2008大会上，魅族M8“习惯性”跳票，之后的3GSM再次跳票令无数机迷失望而归。虽然在CeBIT 2008上终于让我们看到了M8的真机，但是几乎什么都不能用的“机模”和后来发生的展台查抄事件又给魅族M8能否问世蒙上了一层阴影。尽管如此，作为一 款全中国人都认为能抗衡苹果iPhone的产品，魅族M8仍然是让大众最期待的国产手机。自从CeBIT 2008之后，魅族M8又沉寂了好一段日子。近期，在魅族论坛占据举足轻重地位的“大众网友”魅族老总J.WONG于5月30日再次现身魅族官方论坛，回 复了网友们对魅族M8提出的各类“疑难杂症”。

J.WONG同时也透露了魅族M8测试版的上市日期。据J.WONG介绍，魅族M8“屏幕硬到你受不了”，“刷新一屏的数据相当于iPhone的2 倍”。另外，正式版的魅族M8将在测试版发布后三个月，估计是在十月上市。不过上述都是J.WONG的个人观点，魅族M8是否真的会出现以及是否真的那么 强悍都要等待真机上市才能揭晓。

J.Wong还表示目前M8使用的三星的6410芯片最大只能配备128MB的内存，而这一配置在驱动1600万色的480×720像素的屏幕显示的时 候系统会显得非常慢，J.Wong生成目前“M8测试版只能先上16位65K色（除了内存不够之外，2D加速目前也还没优化好，32位色会导致整个系统刷 新速度变慢），正式版我们将努力上32位1600万色”。同样是论坛的消息，魅族M8 800MHz的处理器采用了三星6410芯片，这一芯片加强了2D、3D图形运算性能，并且有667和800MHZ的两种主频版本。

J.Wong的最新表态正式版的魅族M8将会采用800MHz的处理器，256MB内存，并配备一块1600万色的显示屏。而根据J.Wong很早之前 发出测试版魅族M8手机的售价为2008元的消息，倘若具备如此出色配置的M8真的出现，那么相信在强手如林的手机市场中是真的无敌的了。根据论坛里的言 论，魅族M8将首先推出测试版本，目前计划生产3000台，每台预计零售价格2008元。测试版到手后一个月内可以退回测试版并退还全额押金，或在正式版 上市之日起算6个月内补380元可换得正式版。

魅族这次曝光的界面设计图采用了很多磨砂玻璃式的半透明效果，并且在主待机界面上增加了更多的元素，使得实用性更强，只需点开屏幕就可以获得更多的内 容。更方便用户使用。而在拨号以及联系人和键盘输入等方面依稀还有一些iPhone的影子，不过魅族这次勇于突破创新，对自己，对国产手机来说都是一个进 步了。
大家对它的期待太热切了，7月6日至7月9日青岛电子展上，魅族号称将带着真机出现在展会上，我们相信这次一定不会让大家失望，真正超越一切成为国内万众瞩目的一款手机。
